OUR History
Maison Borio has its roots in the heart of a family-run wine estate nestled in the Corbières, an arid land shaped by vines and sun. It is in this landscape, where nature imposes its strength and beauty, that we draw our inspiration.
The borios - dry-stone shelters built by shepherds in the past to protect themselves from the scorching heat - are the source of our name and identity.
Like these timeless refuges, our cellars are designed as protective caskets, offering wines a safe haven against time and the elements.
Each Maison Borio creation embodies a dialogue between heritage and modernity, between earth and architecture, where the art of preservation becomes the art of sublimation.
